Michael Fendrich

Dr. Michael Fendrich, Ph.D. is a Professor and the Associate Dean for Research at the School of Social Work. His research focuses on policies, services, interventions, and risk factors related to substance misuse and mental health. He has received considerable extramural funding support from public and private sources. Michael’s most recent work addresses the current opioid crisis and mental health services for youth. Michael is a quantitative researcher who employs survey research methods. He teaches research courses in the doctoral program.
